
Manchester is synonymous with the textile trade, there was a time when the city was the centre of the world’s fashion industry. In the early 19th century the city was nicknamed Cottonopolis owing to its sprawl of cotton mills.
There is still a thriving fashion-related network in modern day Manchester, and with 15 years industry experience, Red Alert is at the centre of that community.
They have a reputation for trend-spotting and innovation, and needed to refresh their own brand to match the style and presence of those that they represent.

The deathbydesign solution was to create a flowing, joined-up typeface that was also substantial and solid in appearance.
We also built them an award-winning website, which can be seen here! The website was built using Flash, specifically a full screen video player with content layered above. The video was supplied by the various brands that they represent.
